Project Requirement - Challenge

The client planned to sell pre-built WordPress sites to customers, enabling them to start their dropshipping businesses. Each customer should receive a WordPress site featuring a custom plugin integrated with a product data warehouse and three custom themes. The entire process needed to be automated, ensuring that customers receive their complete package immediately upon purchasing the plan.

To achieve this, the client requires:

Development of a DSH (DropshipHeaven) website: Create a website for DropshipHeaven, focusing on a user-friendly interface and seamless navigation to attract and retain customers interested in dropshipping services.

Customization of WHMCS for billing and automated website creation: Modify WHMCS to handle billing processes efficiently and automate the creation of WordPress sites for customers, ensuring they receive a fully set-up website immediately after purchase.

Build a data warehouse and integration of product catalogs: Establish a robust data warehouse to store product information and integrate various product catalogs, enabling efficient management and retrieval of product data for the dropshipping business.

Development of a custom plugin to manage products and orders: Create a specialized plugin for WordPress that facilitates the management of products and orders, streamlining the dropshipping process and enhancing operational efficiency for users.

Frontend Functionalities

Responsive website
- Built a high-performance, responsive website that beautifully reflects the client's design vision, optimized for various devices and screen resolutions. Integrated Bootstrap for a responsive web experience, guaranteeing an optimal user experience across all devices without compromising the client's unique design vision.

Backend Functionalities

WHMCS Customization
- For billing management.
- We customized WHMCS to auto-integrate custom plugin and themes into WordPress site through Softaculous.
- Implemented auto-installation of the WordPress website.
- We set up WHMCS email automation and email template configurations.
- Implemented cron jobs to automate events and reduce manual intervention.
Data Warehouse
- We built a Laravel-based Product and Order Management System for efficient management from the admin end.
- We created modules for detailed Product Management, covering aspects like titles, descriptions, images, prices, variants (if applicable), and inventory levels.
- We developed currency conversion functionality using API.
- We created a user store and incorporated two user types into the data warehouse environment:
  - Admin User: Admins oversee all store users and wallets, including handling financial transactions.
  - Store Users: Store users manage their own store accounts, orders, and account settings.
- We developed a wallet functionality in the data warehouse for store users.
- We established seamless integration between the WordPress custom plugin and the data warehouse store for product data and order status management using APIs and Hooks.
WordPress Plugin Customization
- Developed user registration functionality, along with options for selecting a theme from three custom themes and importing dummy data for setup initiation.
- Enabled multi-currency options in the WordPress store, facilitating global product sales. Prices of products in the data center are dynamically converted to the selected currency using an API.
- Implemented functionality for importing products from the data warehouse with two options: "By Category" or "By Brand".
- We implemented advanced filtering options, enabling users to filter data by category, brand, and price for a more refined and efficient search experience.

Research and Development Completed for the Project

Process for Finding Dropshipping Vendors:

Identified required product categories including electronics, clothing, and home goods.
Conducted comprehensive market research to identify reputable dropshipping vendors within each category.
Initiated professional contact through email, introducing our project and expressing interest in their dropshipping services.
Obtained detailed API documentation from selected vendors, encompassing endpoints, authentication methods, and data schemas.
Successfully integrated the acquired APIs into the data warehouse infrastructure.
